We ordered the Meat for two, hummus plate, and I think we got the lamb stew as a bonus? I heard the Kurdish got tea. Every thing was wonderful! The stew was my favorite! I'm glad it came with our order. The chicken and rice were very good, the hummus was delicious. If we lived closer I'd definitely be back for more of that stew!!

One of my favorite restaurants in Moorhead, and for good reason. The kebab and lentil soup is excellent, they also had a delightful lamb shank when we came in that I knew I had to try. All the meat was delightfully moist and well seasoned, the side salad complemented it nicely, and the soup had a lovely light and savory flavor to it. The service was fantastic! The gentleman at the counter was very friendly, pointed out the specialties they had on offer (including the aforementioned lamb shank, and lamp chops), and even offered my spouse a cup of hot tea on the house. Portion size is great, and the images around the restaraunt allow a peek into the rich history of the Kurdish culture while you enjoy your food at a leisurely pace. I’ve eaten here three times before, and I will doubtlessly eat here again.
DELICIOUS food!! Went here for dinner and discovered an hidden gem. Amazing service - the employees were very attentive. Food was amazing!! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good place to eat.
Me and my mom moved from California to North Dakota and we haven’t had good middle eastern food in FOREVER!! We’re Chaldean and Assyrian and we got the chicken & beef tikka over yellow rice and the biryani, and the lamb shank over rice. Best. Food. EVER. I was in literal heaven. My mom loved the lamb and the hummus and salad. I loved my tikka and hummus and salad. Both the rice we got were phenomenal. The lemon wedges were so juicy, the jalapenos grilled to perfection, the service was AMAZING! So friendly and nice. I don’t understand how there wasn’t a line outside their door!!!!
ZERO disappointment from Newroz Kebab. The staff is friendly, the food is very flavorful, and the portions are extremely generous for the price. 10/10.

We have been coming here since 2022. The food is always amazing. The tea is great for cold weather. Lentil soup goes great with rice platter. Must visits this place for food, to top it off amazing service.
DELICIOUS FULL OF FLAVOR!!! I will be so sad to see this place close if it does. Best seasoning ive found. I love spicy and the grilled jalapeño didnt just the spicy and crunchy I needed. Simply divine and the price for 2 meat rice, hummus, and salad was under 20$. Dont wait try it today!
I tried Newroz Kebab in Moorhead after seeing it on TikTok, and I was beyond amazed. The food was honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. The flavors were immaculate, and the service was even better. Everyone working there was so kind and respectful, and you can really tell the owner values his customers and makes sure everyone feels welcome and taken care of. I ordered lamb racks and a beef kebab for takeout for my mom and dad, and they completely cleared their plates. We highly recommend the lamb racks. They were perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. I also tried the beef shawarma sandwich and it was sooo beyond amazing. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and made with care. I will definitely be back and would recommend this place to anyone looking for incredible food and great service!
